Camp Squanto July 3rd- July 9, 2011
I have reserved the
traditional first week at Camp Squanto, which is located in the Myles
Standish State Forest, near Plymouth. The attached files are the sign up
sheet and the reasons to attend summer camp. We always have fun at
summer camp and most Scouts earn at least three merit badges. Please
make a serious effort to fit summer camp into the family summer
schedule. Feel free to ask me any questions that you might have about
Summer camp.
I personally love Squanto. It has a unique character and all of the
staff are so friendly. I enjoy just walking around the camp looking at
the trees and then going down to the water front to watch all the
activity. But most of all, I enjoy sitting on the covered patio next to
the dining hall, drinking a cup of tea and trying to explain the concept
of cricket to some hapless Scout leader from Bridgewater, for the fifth
year in a row.
